Dude
Dude

Due to the rotten weather we had many no-shows at the 11th running of “Dude, where’s the trail?”, and those who did run chose to run the short course (33 kilometers) instead of the 50K (31 miles) that they originally signed up for. The overall winners, based on their performance on the quiz at the end of the race, were the Balmore family, who correctly answered most of the 18 questions, only missing the fact that the male elk have a harem. Runner up was Dale Nielsen who not only got most of the questions right but who also pioneered a new alternate course ending up on Highway seven. Volunteers for this event were Lou Joline, Harry Stauffer, Steve Mathews, Rick Troeh, Chad Wooderson, and Daryl Daniel.
